About CasteCertificate.in
We are an independent, public-interest civic research initiative dedicated to simplifying India's complex state government revenue procedures for students, parents, job aspirants, and Common Service Centre (CSC) operators.
Our Mission: Eliminating Confusion in Public Service Delivery
Every year, millions of Indian citizens apply for caste certificates (SC, ST, OBC, MOBC, and EWS) to avail constitutional reservations in higher education (NEET, JEE, CUET, State Universities) and public sector employment (UPSC, SSC, State PSCs, Railways, Defense).
However, because revenue administration in India is decentralized, every state operates a separate portal—such as Sewa Setu in Assam, eDistrict in Uttar Pradesh, ServicePlus in Bihar, and Aaple Sarkar in Maharashtra. Citizens regularly face application rejections due to subtle technical glitches, incorrect document sizes, or misunderstandings regarding paternal legacy rules.
CasteCertificate.in was established to bridge this information gap with 100% free, verified, step-by-step guides, document checklists, and browser-based privacy utilities.
Editorial Integrity & Verification Policy
How we research, verify, and update our content
1. Official Gazette & Departmental Circulars Only
Every step, required document, and rule is cross-referenced directly against official State Revenue Departments, Right to Public Services (RTPS) circulars, and Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) Office Memorandums.
2. Zero Commercial Middleman Affiliations
We do not accept commissions from touts, private agents, or unofficial brokers. We always direct users to official government domains (.gov.in / .nic.in).
3. Rapid Inaccuracy Corrections
When a state government updates its portal interface or document guidelines, our research team reviews and amends our tutorials within 48 hours of official gazette notification.
