Do You Need a Physical Tehsildar Stamp or Seal?

Legal Clarification under UP Government Orders:

No physical ink stamp or physical Tehsildar signature is required. The e-District UP caste certificate features a secure cryptographic Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) and a QR code. Government departments, police recruitment boards, and colleges are legally bound by UP Government Order No. 43/2014 to accept this printout directly.

Printing Tip: Print on standard A4 paper using a color laser printer so the government emblem and official QR code are crisp and easily scannable by verifying officials.

Lamination Advisory: Keep 3-4 colored photocopies before laminating, as document verification officers often collect physical copies for filing.
