How to Track Your Application on Sewa Setu
You do not need to log into your citizen account every time you want to check your status. The Government of Assam provides an instant public tracking widget on the Sewa Setu homepage:
- Visit the direct tracking portal at sewasetu.assam.gov.in/site/trackappstatus .
- On the tracking page, you will see the “Track Application Status” search input.
- Type your unique RTPS Application Reference Number exactly as shown on your submission receipt (e.g.,
RTPS-CC/2026/018274). - Click Track / Search. The portal will return a real-time progress card showing the current handling officer, submission date, and expected delivery date.
Decoding Your Status: What Every Stage Really Means
When you search your reference number, you will see one of the following official status tags:
“Application Submitted / Under Initial Scrutiny”
Your application has been received by the centralized ARTPS server and routed to the dealing assistant at your designated Revenue Circle Office. The clerk checks whether your uploaded scans are readable and whether your jurisdiction selection is correct.
“Forwarded to Lot Mondal / Field Verification Pending”
The Circle Officer has assigned your file to the local revenue field officer (Lot Mondal or Kanungo) responsible for your village or mouza. The Lot Mondal cross-verifies your ancestral land records (Jamabandi/Chitha) and checks with the village Gaonburah to ensure the family belongs to the declared community.
“Inquiry Report Submitted / Pending Circle Officer Approval”
The Lot Mondal has completed field inquiries and submitted a formal verification endorsement back into Sewa Setu. Your file is now on the desk of the Circle Officer (CO) or Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) awaiting final DSC digital signing.
“Delivered / Certificate Generated”
Your caste certificate has been approved and issued. A green “Download Certificate” button will appear right inside the tracking view. Click it to save your officially stamped PDF.
“Query Raised by Department”
The officer requires clarification or better documents. Log into your Sewa Setu account, click “Respond to Query”, review the officer's comment, attach the requested clarification, and submit. Do not create a new application!
Application Exceeded 30 Days? How to File an ARTPS First Appeal
