Your application has been assigned to your local Halka Karamchari (राजस्व उपनिरीक्षक). They are checking Khatiyan records or conducting local field verification to confirm your caste claims.
The Karamchari has submitted the verification report. The Circle Inspector (CI) is reviewing the lineage evidence and recommending approval to the Circle Officer.
The Circle Officer (CO) has digitally signed the certificate using their cryptographic DSC token. You can now download the official PDF directly from the portal.
An objection was raised (e.g. illegible Khatiyan scan, landless affidavit missing, or married woman applying with husband's address). Log in to JharSewa to view the exact remark and re-upload documents.
Statutory SLA & What to Do If Your Certificate Is Delayed?
Under the Jharkhand Right to Public Services Act, the statutory delivery timeline for a caste certificate is 15 to 30 working days (or faster under Tatkal).
If your application remains pending past 30 days without justification, you can file a First Appeal (प्रथम अपील) directly to the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) as the designated appellate authority under the Act. You can also contact the JharSewa technical desk at 0651-2446626 or email jharsewa.helpdesk@gmail.com.
